Premier hails Saudi development strides

Manama, Sep. 28 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa hailed honourable Saudi stances in support of Bahrain. “Saudi Arabia, led by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, supported us whole-heartedly”, he said, adding that Bahrain shares the joys of Saudi Arabia. He commended the pivotal Saudi role in unifying Arabs and championing their legitimate causes, describing Saudi Arabia as a strong pillar for Arabs and Muslims and the cornerstone of security and stability in the world. The Premier was speaking as he attended this evening a ceremony celebrating the 86th anniversary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Saudi Embassy in Manama hosted the event which was attended by senior members of the Royal Family, state officials and members of the diplomatic corps. Saudi Arabia, he said, has succeeded in leading Arabs towards more unity and dignity, hailing the wise policy of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz Al-Saud. “The landmark development achievements have earned the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia global respect”, he said, paying tribute the Saudi leader who protected his country’s security and stability and championed the Arab and Islamic causes. The Premier said that the whole world admires Saudi economic, security, development and religious achievements which won international recognition, hailing the Saudi pioneering regional and international roles. He commended the remarkable success of Saudi Arabia in organizing this year’s Haj season, hailing mega infrastructure projects as well as the unrivalled human and organizational preparations. He said that Bahrain would always recall the honorable Saudi stances which, he said, would remain engraved in the memory of the Bahraini people and the annals of history.
