Premier: Leadership-people relationship exemplary

Manama, Mar. 25 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has described the leadership-people relationship in the kingdom and His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s relations with the people as exemplary and a source of pride. "We sincerely love HM the King. The people of Bahrain has never, and will never change, and we all support HM King Hamad’s policies towards this nation and its progress. We support and implement the royal directives to enhance the citizens’ life and improve the quality of government services," he said. HRH Premier stressed that the leadership-people relationship is unique, as it is based on mutual love and respect. "We are from this people, and our people is from us, and we are strongly determined to achieve everything that may contribute to improving the living conditions of the Bahraini citizens. This people is the source of our strength, the asset for the future and a stimulator of a development process that is on the right track to attain the aspired for goals," he added. "Under HM the King’s leadership, the kingdom is making steadfast strides towards development, and has, thanks to the sound royal directives and visions, succeeded to be a leader in many fields, thus providing the world with an example of strong will and determination to achieve success," he also said. The Prime Minister made the statements while receiving senior state officials, intellectuals, cultural, media and economic figures, as well as scores of citizens, at the Gudaibiya Palace today, as part of his keenness on directly interacting with the citizens.  HRH Premier expressed deep pride in the successive achievements attained by Bahrainis, and their effective response to human development programmes launched by the government. "Bahraini people’s multiple success stories in love of the nation and loyalty to the leadership will remain engraved in the national memory, and the deep-rooted social fabric will remain cohesive and will not be affected by division attempts," he said, voicing pride in the Bahraini people’s great awareness and keenness on acquiring science and knowledge in various field. Through their dedication in the service of the homeland, and rallying behind their leadership, the Bahraini citizens have projected to the world the civilisational image of the Kingdom of Bahrain, he added. The Prime Minister asserted that the kingdom has overcome all challenges, and is making accelerated strides towards more development and progress, stressing that Bahrain’s ambitions have no ceiling and will not be affected by any obstacles. Tacking external issues, HRH Premier lauded the efforts exerted by Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, and Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Defence Minister, HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, to champion Arab and Islamic issues. "Sisterly Saudi Arabia is the strength for all Arabs and Muslims. We speak from the bottom of our heart because it is playing a major role for the sake of the Arab and Islamic countries, in general, and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, in particular," he said. The Prime Minister affirmed that the fruitful outcome of the Saudi Crown Prince to friendly U.S.A is a success for all the countries of the region.
