Premier pays surprise visit to Al-Salihiya village

Manama, Apr. 2 (BNA): Out of keenness to assess citizens’ needs and cater for them in Al-Salihiya village, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa paid a surprise field visit today to the village where he met a number of citizens. The visit came after a recent meeting with a number of citizens from Al-Salihiya who highlighted to HRH the Prime Minister the development needs of the village. HRH the Premier affirmed that reaching out to citizens’ needs is a top priority, underlining the government’s keenness on assessing citizens’ needs nationwide and catering for them within the framework of a comprehensive development plan to optimise services. He emphasised the importance of setting up high quality services facilities and ensuring sustainability to boost citizens’ welfare. HRH the Prime Minister exchanged talks with the citizens and listened to their needs, stressing the government’s keenness to ensure top quality services for all regions. He underlined the fast-paced development march and the government’s efforts to overcome all challenges for the best interest of the nation and citizens.  Al-Salihiya citizens extended heartfelt thanks and gratitude to HRH the Premier for his keenness to cater for their needs and directives to the relevant ministers to pay a field visit to the village and assess people’s needs there.
