Premier praises Saudi people's patriotism, stances

Manama, Sep. 19 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has lauded the Saudi people’s patriotism, honourable stances and keenness to rally behind its leadership in the face of dangers and challenges. The Prime Minister pointed out that Saudi Arabia has never antagonised anyone throughout its history, and is doing its utmost to defend itself and its brotherly and friendly countries against all evils, particularly terrorism, stressing that its major role in combating terrorism and safeguarding the region against it deserves Arab and global support, as terror targets the security, stability and interests of all. In this regard, HRH the Prime Minister lauded the progress boom and prosperity witnessed by Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and thanks to the support of the Crown Prince, First Deputy Premier and Defence Minister, HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al-Saud, praising the Saudi leadership’s stances towards various Arab and Islamic issues, and Saudi Arabia’s leading role in backing every efforts aimed at reinforcing security and stability worldwide. The Prime Minister made the statements while receiving, at the Gudaibiya Palace today, the Saudi Ambassador to Bahrain, Dr. Abdulla bin Abdulmalik Al-Sheikh, who extended to him an invitation to attend the reception to be hosted by the Saudi Embassy marking Saudi Arabia’s National Day. HRH Premier stressed that Bahraini-Saudi relations, based on mutual love, kinship and common destiny, enjoy all kinds of support. The Prime Minister expressed Bahrain’s pride in the steady progress of its relation with Saudi Arabia, stressing that the deep-rooted bilateral relations pave the way for stronger joint cooperation.
