Premier receives UAE dignitary

Manama, Nov. 1 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at the Gudaibiya Palace today UAE businessman, dignitary Juma Al-Majid, who is currently on a visit to the kingdom. HRH the Prime Minister praised the contributions of dignitary Al-Majid to trade, whether in his country or abroad. He also hailed Al-Majid's huge contributions to science and culture through his initiatives to establish educational and cultural centres, as well as his interest in the rich Arab and Islamic heritage and history. HRH Premier lauded the UAE businessman's role in the trade and charitable fields, which, he said, is in line with the prominent role played by brotherly UAE in these fields, stressing that the acclamation of the Al-Majid charitable and humanitarian initiatives by prestigious international organisations prove that their echoes have gone beyond local and regional boundaries and reached world levels. HRH the Prime Minister highlighted the key role played by the Juma Al Majid Centre For Culture and Heritage in preserving and promoting Islamic heritage, wishing dignitary Al-Majid further success. Dignitary Al-Majid expressed delight at the audience, lauding the role played by HRH the Prime Minister in enhancing the brotherly Bahraini-UAE relations.
