Premier thanked for maintaining bonus

Manama, May 11 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa received a cable of thanks from Alba Trade Union Chairman Ali Al-Binali, hailing his decision to maintain the end-service bonus intact, thus dispelling rumoured cancellation. "Your decision has reassured large numbers of subscribers at the General Organisation for Social Insurance", he said, lauding the Premier's keenness on discussing issues that affect citizens and taking adequate decisions for the sake of their well-being. On behalf of all Alba workers, he commended the Government, led by HRH the Premier, for its strenuous efforts to ensure the sustainability of pension funds for the sake of workers' present and future well-being.
