Premier's directive to keep retirees' benefits hailed

Manama, June 4 (BNA): The efforts of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, to maintain the full rights of retirees have been hailed by the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI). BCCI asserted that the government’s statements that it will keep the existing rights of pensioners unchanged, and try to find out new options that ensure the sustainability of retirement funds have assured retirees, highlighting HRH the Prime Minister’s constant keenness to reach out to the citizens, and eagerness to ensure a better future to them. BCCI affirmed that the end-of-services benefits and pensions are basic rights of workers following their long dedication in the service of the homeland, praising the assurance of the Executive Branch, represented by HRH the Premier, that they will not be affected.
