Preparations for 15th Gulf Radio and Television Festival discussed

Manama, Apr. 14 (BNA): Information Affairs Minister, Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi, today received the Director-General of the Gulf Radio and TV Organisation (GRTO), Majarri Mubarak Al-Qahtani, in the presence of the Assistant Undersecretary for Radio and Television Affairs, Abdulla Khalid Al-Dossari. The two sides discussed the kingdom’s preparations to host the 15th Gulf Radio and Television Festival. The minister commended GRTO’s ongoing efforts to prepare for such an important Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) event. They also reviewed ways to enhance joint GCC media action, and activate the role of the media in deepening the Gulf identity, and strengthening the spirit of citizenship and tolerance across the GCC countries.
