Preparations for Ashoora season discussed

Manama, Aug. 28 (BNA): Chairman of the Jaffari Endowments Council, Shaikh Mohsen Al-Asfoor, received here a delegation from the Northern Governorate’s Municipality, in the presence of Acting Jaffari Endowments Director, Ali Mirza Khamis. Al-Asfoor lauded the role of the Northern Governorate’s Municipality in managing and developing services and public facilities to meet the needs of the citizens, in coordination with the relevant parties. He discussed with the delegation areas of joint cooperation and coordination during the Ashoora season, affirming the Jaffari Directorate’s keenness to finalise preparations for the events as early as possible. Al-Asfoor said that the directorate had put forward organisational regulations for all events to be held on the sidelines of the Ashoora Commemoration, and would announce them soon. Head of the Public Relations and Media at the Northern Governorate’s Municipality, Jameel Al- Mubarak, stressed the Municipality’s keenness to strengthen cooperation with the Jaffari Endowments Directorate through launching joint initiatives to ensure the delivery of the best services, and to take advantage of religious events to spread awareness and promote the preservation of the environment culture.
