President Jeenbekov to address Parliament's session

Bishkek, Feb.20, 2020. /Kabar/. Today, Feb. 20, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov will attend the session of the Jogorku Kenesh (Kyrgyz Parliament), his press service said. At the Parliament session, new members of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic will take the oath. In accordance with part 2 of article 7 of the Constitutional Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic" the swearing-in of the Government’s members is carried out in the presence of the President. President Jeenbekov is expected to address the session of the Parliament, where he will focus on current issues of the country's development and strengthening harmony in society. Note that in accordance with the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic, the President in entitled to address the session of the Jogorku Kenesh.
