President Jeenbekov visits Toshiba plant in Tokyo

Bishkek, Oct.23, 2019. /Kabar/. As part of his working visit to Japan, President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov visited the head office and plant of Toshiba Energy Systems and Solutions in Tokyo. The President got acquainted with the activities of the hydroturbine and generator production plant and inspected the production process, his press service reported. He noted that he is aware of the rich hydropower resources of Kyrgyzstan, where 80% of energy is produced by hydroelectric power plants. He expressed interest in developing mutually beneficial cooperation with Kyrgyzstan using advanced Japanese technologies.
