President of Kyrgyzstan: We are not alone in this struggle

Bishkek, Apr. 15, 2020 / Kabar /. “We are not alone in this struggle,” Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov said today speaking in the Parliament of the country. The head of state noted that due to the lack of an “airbag” in the reserve, as in other countries, negotiations were actively held with international partners. “Kyrgyzstan is supported by the United Nations, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the Islamic Development Bank, the Asian Development Bank, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, and foundations of Arab countries,” the president recalled. “Russia has once again shown that it is our true ally. From the first days of the alarming situation, it left open its airspace. We receive financial support and test systems. The neighboring People’s Republic of China is providing tangible assistance to us. Fraternal Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan also provided substantial support. Turkey, Japan and Korea also supported us,” Jeenbekov emphasized and expressed deep gratitude to all partners of the country.
