President signs decrees on citizenship acquisition and withdrawal from Kyrgyz Republic

Bishkek, Dec.30, 2019. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov has signed three Decrees on the acquisition of Kyrgyz citizenship and on withdrawal from the citizenship of the Kyrgyz Republic, his press service said Monday. Of these, two Decrees on granting citizenship to 978 people (837 adults and 141 children), most of whom are ethnic Kyrgyz who have returned to their historical homeland. One Presidential Decree on withdrawal from the citizenship of the Kyrgyz Republic 493 people (365 adults and 128 children). A total of 1,471 people (1,202 adults and 269 children) applied.
