Privacy infringer questioned

Manama, Apr. 15 (BNA): The Public Prosecution received a report from the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption & Economic & Electronic Security informing that an individual had misused communication devices and disseminated information via social media infringing on the privacy of other individuals, the Acting Chief Prosecutor in the Northern Governorate, Abdulrahman Al Maouda, said. At the Public Prosecution’s order, the suspect was apprehended and questioned and he admitted the charges levelled against him. The Prosecution decided to remand him pending further investigation. Also, witnesses testimonies and examination of the devices found in his possession were also underway.
