Progress Made in Construction of Tanchon Power Station in DPRK

Pyongyang, July 8 (KCNA) -- The Jagang Provincial Shock Brigade, involved in construction of the Tanchon Power Station, pushes ahead with the construction of the main waterway tunnel to complete the first-stage project. The brigade has finished its waterway tunnel construction project, and is now fulfilling its daily plan by 150 percent in a new project. It organizes a socialist emulation drive among units and revitalizes its own production bases to ensure timely supply of materials and equipment needed for the construction. -0-
