Providing best medical, health services stressed

Manama, Apr. 22 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa today received the newly elected Board of Directors of the Bahrain Medical Society (BMS) led by Chairperson Dr. Ghada Al-Qassim.  He stressed the government's interest in providing quality health and medical services. HRH the Prime Minister took pride in the successes achieved in the health and medical sector in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, pointing out the qualified medical and nursing staff according to the latest methods.  HRH the Prime Minister congratulated the newly elected Board members and wished them to translate the BMS goals. He lauded the BMS efforts to work together with doctors to provide health and medical services in conformity with the latest standards.  HRH the Prime Minister highlighted the government support for the noble medical profession through strengthening community partnership and cooperation with the BMS. He called on the newly elected Board members to organize more training programmes to develop the medical and nursing cadres amid the progress seen by hospitals and medical centers.  HRH the Prime Minister noted benefiting from the outstanding national medical cadres who have greatly contributed to promoting Bahrain’s medical tourism standing and consequently supporting the national economy.  The BMS Chairperson expressed sincere appreciation of HRH the Premier’s promotion that has contributed to upgrading the health and medical services, saying the Premier’s directives raise the bar of motivation to exert extra efforts to improve medical services.
