Public Security Chief attends graduation ceremony

Manama, Feb. 1 (BNA): Chief of Public Security, Major-General Tariq Al Hassan, today attended a graduation ceremony of six training courses held at the Coast Guard’s Maritime Training Centre and Maritime Rescue Centre. Personnel from the Interior Ministry and Royal Bahrain Naval Force participated in the training course, in addition to personnel from UAE, Kuwait and Oman. The Public Security Chief hailed the Interior Minister's directives on providing plans and programmes to enhance the police skills, expressing appreciation of efforts to boost skills of Coast Guard personnel to increase professionalism. He said the Interior Ministry pushes on with the development of the Coast Guard personnel in conformity with the latest international standards. He expressed appreciation of the Coast Guard's efforts to step up training to raise the personnel's performance bar. The event concluded with the distribution of certificates to the participants.
