Public Security Chief meets US official

Washington, Dec.2 (BNA) – On the sideline of the visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister to the United States, Chief of Public Security, Major-General Tariq Al Hassan met US Secretary of the Treasury Steven Mnuchin. The meeting was attended by Bahraini Ambassador to the US Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa and the US Ambassador to Bahrain, Justin Siberell. The Chief reviewed the current security situation in Bahrain and counter-terrorism efforts, in addition to topics of common interest. The meeting was also attended by the Director of the Public Security Chief Office and security liaison officer at the Bahraini embassy in Washington.
