Public Works Ministry To Build New Road In Gorontalo

Gorontalo, Dec 21 (ANTARA) - The Public Works Ministry will build a new road extending 16.55 kilometers in the regency of Bone Bolango, in southern Gorontalo. The road to cost around Rp90 billion will help boost economic development in southern part of the province, Fahri M. a resident of Bone Bolango said on Friday. Implementation of the project will create equitable development in the province, he said, adding, so far development has been enjoyed more by the northern part of the province. Earlier the public works ministry said it planned to build the road in 2013. The road project will extend from the city of Gorontalo to the village of Taludaa in the regency of Bone Bolango, an official of the ministry Sujarno said. Construction of the project is to be completed in three years, Sujarno said.
