Qasr Al Hosn Festival concludes with roaring success amid presence of thousands of visitors

Abu Dhabi (WAM): The Qasr Al Hosn Festival concluded yesterday after 10 days of a plethora of annual heritage events and the attendance of thousands of visitors to mark over 250 years of the most remarkable historic landmark in Abu Dhabi, Qasr Al Hosn fort. Organised by the Abu Dhabi Authority for Tourism and Culture, under the aegis of His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, the festival attracted Emiratis and residents of all different age groups. Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Authority for Tourism and Culture, said that: "The Qasr Al Hosn Festival this year achieved a roaring success as it attracted visitors of different nationalities and interests to see and celebrate the symbol of Abu Dhabi." During the festival, many visitors were briefed about the ongoing renovations and historic role of Qasr Al Hosn in the development of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
