Qatar 2022: QF Provides an All-inclusive Fan Experience During World Cup

Doha, November 13 (QNA) - Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development (QF) confirmed that the Education City Fan Experience will provide an all-inclusive environment, welcoming everyone during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, through various performances by artists with disabilities, and providing sensory assistance rooms and different sensory experiences for people with disabilities. The Fan Experience at Education City Stadium will provide a range of sensory activities to help fans relax. This includes a Music Wall with instruments that produce different sounds, allowing those who need to re-balance. During the tournament, Education City Stadium will host eight matches, including a match in the quarter-finals. While the fans flock to the stadium to watch the matches, they will be able to enjoy a range of activities in several locations, such as transportation centers, parking lots, and drop-off sites designated for fans on roads leading to the stadium. Additionally, there will be musical and show performances, and free football, which will highlight the Qatari culture and the cultures of the various countries represented by the teams, which will compete during the matches at the Education City Stadium. The seats that will be provided to fans to rest on the various roads leading to the stadium, can be accessed and used by wheelchair users. Also, there will be a limited number of golf carts to support fans who face mobility issues to and from the stadium. The access volunteers, who are trained by QF on how to interact with and support fans of different disabilities and are a part of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 volunteer team, will be present at key points of the fan experience.
