Qatar Participates in Arab Conference for Heads of Borders, Airports and Port Security

Doha, October 13 (QNA) - The State of Qatar participated in the 16th Arab Conference for Heads of Borders, Airports and Port Security, which concluded Thursday in the capital, Tunis. The State of Qatar's delegation to the conference, which lasted for two days, was headed by Chairman of the Permanent Committee for the Management of Seaports Brigadier Dr. Abdulhadi Mohammad Al Dosari. The conference discussed a number of important topics on the agenda, including the Arab strategy for Combating Maritime Crimes, and ways to exchange experiences in this field. Representatives from the Ministries of Interior in the Arab countries, the League of Arab States, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the European Border and Coast Guard Agency(Frontex), the Arab Civil Aviation Organization ((ACAO) and Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (NAUSS) participated in the conference.
