Qatar Participates in Third Coast Guard Global Summit

Doha, December 04 (QNA) - The State of Qatar participated in the Third Coast Guard Global Summit via videoconferencing organized by Japan Coast Guard. The online symposium witnessed the participation of 36 countries and organizations. At the summit, the State of Qatar was represented by the Head of the Maritime Training Centre at the General Administration of Coasts and Borders Security at the Ministry of Interior Colonel Fahd Ali Al Hajri. The summit discussed a number of topics and issues of concern to coast guard forces worldwide, including response to natural disasters at sea and enhancing areas of cooperation between countries to better deal with related challenges.
