Doha, November 01 (QNA) - Qatari newspapers highlighted in their editorials Tuesday HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani's presiding over the delegation of the State of Qatar to participate in the Summit-Level Meeting of the Council of the Arab League in the 31st Ordinary Session, to be held on Tuesday in Algiers, capital of the sisterly People's Democratic Republic of Algeria. The newspapers said that under the leadership of HH the Amir, Qatar was among the first to support the joint Arab action and many Arab issues, most notably the Palestinian cause, and achieve stability in Syria and Libya, adding that the State of Qatar views with concern the dangers threatening the Arab world and works with all available means to confront and ward off their dangers. The paper added that HH the Amir's participation in the Arab Summit is highly welcomed by Algerian officials, who stressed that HH's participation gives an important impetus to the Arab event in order to achieve the desired goals and address the serious challenges and current Arab issues in light of a changing world and serious regional and international crises. For its part, Al-Watan newspaper said in its editorial that HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani is heading the delegation of the State of Qatar to participate in the Summit-Level Meeting of the Council of the Arab League in the 31st Ordinary Session, to be held on Tuesday in Algiers. The paper underlined that His Highness' participation in the summit was welcomed by Algeria at the highest levels, as the President of the Algerian Council of the Nation affirmed that HH the Amir's acceptance to HE President of People's Democratic Republic of Algeria Abdelmadjid Tebboune's invitation to participate in the Summit confirms His Highness's keenness on Arab integration and promotion of joint Arab action. The President of the Algerian Council of the Nation said that HH the Amir's attendance affirms his well-known keenness on Arab integration and gives the event a greater motivation to achieve goals and strengthen joint Arab action to face the serious challenges and the rapid transformations the world is experiencing. The newspaper also referred to the Vice-President of the Algerian People's National Assembly's affirmation that HH the Amir's presence is a great support for Algeria in hosting the summit. He stressed that Qatar and Algeria are seeking Arab unity and defending the Palestinian cause, adding that the State of Qatar, under the leadership of HH the Amir, has never failed to provide full support to Algeria. In conclusion, Al-Watan said that there is a hope that the reunification summit will come out with decisions in view of the magnitude of challenges facing our Arab nation, that express honestly and realistically the concerns of all Arabs to overcome the current situation. In turn, Al-Raya newspaper highlighted in its editorial HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani's participation in the work of the 31st Ordinary Arab Summit in Algeria on Tuesday. The history of the Arab summits highlights His Highness’s constant keenness to participate with Their Majesties, Excellencies, and Highnesses the leaders of the Arab countries, and support the issues of the Arab nation, foremost of which is the Palestinian cause, keeping it alive no matter the challenges, the paper said. The Arab leaders are looking forward to Algeria Summit to unify their visions in light of the current regional and international circumstances, especially regarding the Palestinian cause and the arbitrary and criminal Israeli measures taken against the Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, the paper said. Social protection and family cohesion are essential components of an integrated and sound social development approach aimed at achieving the well-being of Qatar and its citizens and building a safe, secure, and resilient society against all social challenges and threats. Through the Ministry of Social Development and Family, Qatar aims to ensure families are encouraged and provided the necessary support to navigate challenges. On Monday, the Ministry organized the "Community Partnership Forum" to discuss the challenges and the latest social and family development, the paper noted. The Forum is a means to achieving the objectives of the social and development pillars of the Qatar National Vision 2030, which encompasses a system dedicated to social welfare and protection for all citizens and to bolstering women’s role in society and empowering them to be active community members, The Peninsula said.
