Doha, November 12 (QNA) - Qatari newspapers on Saturday shed light on various topics and issues, ranging from the mighty efforts exerted by the State of Qatar to host an impressive World Cup despite the malicious campaigns, to the constant efforts of "Mwani Qatar" to invest in advanced technological innovations that bring enormous benefits to the trading community and play a major role in the transformation into a competitive knowledge-based economy.
Internationally, the Qatari dailies highlighted Qatar's position in support of Afghanistan to establish peace and development, and its efforts in facilitating communication channels between international partners and the Afghan caretaker government, with the aim of promoting peace, protecting civilians and delivering humanitarian and development assistance.
For its part, Al-Watan said that the negative reports that have been targeting the State of Qatar since it won the honor of hosting the FIFA World Cup 2022 were either based on misleading information or aimed at misleading for various reasons, including the inability of those behind them these reports to accept the idea of holding the World Cup in an Arab country that proved its capability to organize the best World Cup edition ever in the history of football.

Meanwhile, Al-Raya said that the festive atmosphere of large crowds of football fans of different nationalities in Doha yesterday revealed the failure of the smear campaigns led by some media and Western politicians against the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
