Qatar's Ambassador to Austria: Reviving, Learning Arabic Language Only Way to Create Educated Generations

Vienna, December 21 (QNA) - HE Sultan bin Salmeen Al Mansoori, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Austria, and the Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the United Nations and international organizations in Vienna, affirmed that reviving the Arabic language, being proud of the language and learning it is the only way to form an educated, knowledgeable, conscious, and enlightened generation that will be the nucleus of an enlightened Arab society. This came during the participation of the Embassy of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Austria and the Permanent Mission of the State of Qatar to the United Nations and international organizations in Vienna, in the celebration of the World Arabic Language Day, which was held at the United Nations Office at Vienna. In a speech on behalf of the Arab Group, HE the Ambassador expressed gratitude to the United Nations and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization for their celebration of the World Arabic Language Day; in order to highlight the Arabic language as one of the most important languages in the world. His Excellency spoke about the challenge of reviving the Arabic language and its role in developing Arab societies and keeping them in pace with science. His Excellency also praised the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which was held for the first time in an Arab country, saying that it was an occasion for dialogue and the interaction of worldwide fans with manifestations of the Arab-Islamic culture, on Qatari soil, noting that the Arabic language was used for the first time in World Cup history in FIFA advertisements and official statements inside and outside the stadiums.
