Qatar's Assistant Foreign Minister Meets UNRWA Delegation

Doha, October 18 (QNA) - HE Assistant Foreign Minister Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater met with a delegation from the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), who is currently visiting the country. During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in Palestine and the cooperation aspects to improve the Palestinians' situations in the occupied territories, as well as discussing the situations of the Palestinian refugees in the Arab and foreign countries. During the meeting, the Assistant Foreign Minister reiterated the State of Qatar's supporting position for the Palestinian people in the various political, development, educational and economic fields. Her Excellency affirmed that the Occupation's dangerous practices in Jerusalem aim to impose a new reality, stressing that such practices violate the international resolutions on the status of east Jerusalem.
