Qatar's conspiracy latest sequel slammed

Manama, July 16 (BNA): The official spokesman of Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) has commented on "What is hidden is more immense" program aired on Sunday, July 14 by Qatar’s Al Jazeera channel in the latest sequel of its conspiracy against the Kingdom of Bahrain within context of Qatar’s bid to undermine and estrange the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states. The so-called Yasser Athbi Al Jalahma during the program voiced absolutely unrealistic fabrications. In fact the security brigade in which he had worked in 2011 was an auxiliary force at the Interior Ministry assigned to secure the Salmaniya Hospital. His brigade was never assigned any task in the process of entering the roundabout. Yasser included many allegations including about the figure of the brigade members, the status of its armament and the photos purportedly taken by the Interior Minister were utterly far from the truth and unrealistic. The BDF spokesman said that in 2018 the so-called Yasser was monitored by the security agencies in the BDF while he was recruiting cluster cells in order to spy on behalf of a foreign country (Qatar). He joined with other suspects in the foreign intelligence activities aimed to disclose Bahrain’s defence secrets and to hand over classified information to Qatar intelligence agencies in order to damage Bahrain’s military and defence posture. He et alia had disclosed vital classified information and military secrets to unauthorized individuals. After the Military Prosecution completed its thorough investigations, the case was referred to the Military Judiciary. On April 30, 2019 various sentences were issued by the Military Court against the suspects including life and temporary prison terms. The so-called Yasser Athbi Al Jalahma was sentenced to death in absentia in addition to demoting his rank to "soldier". He was also discharged from the BDF without insignia and his name was written off the BDF reserves list. He is still a wanted fugitive. In 2013, Yasser was also sentenced to ten years for failure to respond to the call of the Reserve Force. He fled to Qatar and acquired its nationality without approval from the relevant department in the BDF. A judicial warrant of arrest was issued against him through the Interpol. The BDF spokesman concluded by saying that Qatar’s Al Jazeera style incites hatred and proves to the world that Qatar embraces terrorists, and finances them to distort the Kingdom of Bahrain’s image in an attempt to destabilize Bahrain’s civic peace and sow sedition amongst the GCC states. The official spokesman said the Qatari destructive tool will continue to target us but Bahrain will remain forever a strong, serene Arab country ruled by the noble Al Khalifa Royal Family. The Bahraini people will always remain loyal to our beloved leadership. The BDF will always remain the mighty, invincible shield of our beloved Kingdom under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa the Supreme Commander may Allah protect and nurture His Majesty and perpetuate his glory.
