Qatar's Embassy in Cyprus Celebrates National Day

Nicosia, December 19 (QNA) - HE Qatar's Ambassador to the Republic of Cyprus Mubarak bin Abdulrahman Al Nasser hosted a luncheon on the occasion of Qatar's National Day. The function was attended by Cyprus President Dimitris Christofias and his wife. The Cypriot President entrusted the Qatari Ambassador with his greetings to HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and wished the people of Qatar further progress and prosperity under the wise leadership of His Highness. President of Cyprus presented during the ceremony the olive branch to the Qatari Ambassador in recognition of his efforts in the development of the Cypriot-Qatari relations. The function was also attended by Cyprus Government Spokesman Stefanos Stefanou and Arab Ambassadors in addition to a large number of Foreign Ambassadors accredited to the Republic of Cyprus, senior officials in Cyprus and prominent businessmen.
