Quake Hits Rantau Sumba, Indonesia

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 5 (Bernama) -- A moderate earthquake, measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale hit Rantau Sumba, Indonesia at 11.07 am, Monday. The Malaysian Meteorology Department in a statement, said the quake occurred about 186 kilometres (km) southeast of Bima, Indonesia, at a depth of 10 km. However, it posed no tsunami threat to Malaysia. -- BERNAMA
