Queen Elizabeth II Congratulates M'sian King On His Second Installation

KUALA LUMPUR, April 11 (Bernama) -- Britain's Queen Elizabeth II sent a congratulatory and best wishes message to Yang di-Pertuan Agong (King) Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah on His Majesty's second installation as Malaysia's 14th King. "I would like to congratulate you on the occasion of your coronation as the Yang di-Pertuan Agong. "I remember fondly your state visit to the United Kingdom in 1974 and have watched with enormous admiration how Malaysia has grown, while remaining true to its distinctive character and values. "I wish you every success as you lead Malaysia, for a second time, on its continuing path of prosperity and as a force for good in the region and wider world," the Queen said in her message issued by the British High Commission here.
