Rajabhakti Park to organise cross-year prayer session

PRACHAUP KHIRI KHAN, Dec 21 (TNA) - The Rajabhakti Park in Hua Hin district of Prachuap Khiri Khan province is prepared to hold a cross-year prayer session to usher in the New Year for good luck and prosperity, as well as to organise an alms giving ceremony for 100 monks on Jan 1. Chief of the Thanarat Camp's Infantry Centre Maj. Gen. Danai Kritmethawee said the army is set to organise activities to welcome the coming New Year at the Rajabhakti Park, where a total of 301 monks would be invited to perform a prayer session on New Year's Eve starting from 10 pm until 1 am of January 1, 2017. Then, at 8 am on New Year's Day, an alms giving ceremony would be held for 100 monks, in which the event would be presided over by Prachuabkhirikhan governor. The Rajabhakti Park will also organise parking spaces for the public who will participate in activities. Prayer pamphlets and drinking water will be also offered to participants. (TNA)
