Ramadan Iftar hosted for RCO affiliates

Manama, June 9 (BNA): More than 200 people affiliated with the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) have been treated to a Ramadan Iftar. The charity association hosted the event which was sponsored by Al-Baraka Banking Group (ABG). RCO Secretary-General Dr. Mustapha Al-Sayyid delivered a speech paying tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, RCO Honorary President, hailing his keenness on extending a helping hand to needy families and serving charity works in Bahrain and abroad. He hailed the role of HM the King’s Representative for Charity Works and Youth Affairs His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa in bolstering the RCO-led efforts and strengthening its dedication. He thanked Al-Baraka Banking Group (ABG) for its initiative to sponsor the Ramadan Iftar for RCO affiliate families. A group of RCO affiliated children sang a chant highlighting the virtues of the holy month of Ramadan. Dr. Al-Sayyed presented Al-Baraka Banking Group (ABG) with artworks painted by RCO-affiliated children. The event was attended by reporters, RCO and ABG officials.
