RCA - Al Ain spent Dh67.2 million in humanitarian and development projects last year

Abu Dhabi, April 7, 2013 (WAM) - Red Crescent Authority (RAC) in Al Ain carried last year humanitarian, relief and development programmes worth Dh67.2 million for the benefit of 41,000 needy families. A RCA report said local cash and kind assistance took the lion share of 2012 operations at Dh47.9 million against Dh19.3 million for 788 construction and development projects abroad of which Dh13.8 million were dedicated for building 207 mosques, about Dh3 million for digging 536 water wells and Dh1.6 million for a health care centre.
