RCO Humanitarian role praised

Manama, May 13 (BNA): Representatives Council Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al Mulla lauded the efforts and humanitarian role of the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) in caring for the orphans and widows and helping needy families in Bahrain. He praised the organisation's strategic projects as well as investment and development programmes benefiting different people in Bahrain. This came as he received today RCO Secretary General Mustafa Sayed, in the presence of Assistant Secretary General for Planning and Charity Resources Development Yousef Al-Yaqoob, Public Relations and Media Director Adel Al-Mahmid, Planning and Projects Director Ibrahim Al-Dussari and Assistant Secretary General for Financial and Human Affairs at the council Yasser Al-Shirawi. They discussed the organisation's main achievements and its future plans, the importance to promote the concept of charity work and spread awareness of the importance of social solidarity and humanitarian initiatives in the Bahraini community. They also reviewed ways of bolstering cooperation between RCO and the parliament in this regard.
