RCO secretary-general receives Bahrain's ambassador to U.S

Manama, Apr. 16 (BNA): Secretary-General of the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO), Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed Al-Amin, received here the Bahraini Ambassador to the U.S, Shaikh Abdulla bin Rashid Al Khalifa, and discussed with him areas of joint cooperation. Dr. Al-Sayed lauded the major role played by the Bahraini Embassy in Washington to highlight the kingdom’s civilisational image, praising Shaikh Abdulla bin Rashid Al Khalifa’s cooperation and constant support for the charitable and humanitarian work carried out by Bahrain through RCO. He highlighted RCO’s achievements in taking care of orphans and widows, and all those sponsored by His Majesty the King, noting that RCO takes care of its affiliates in the educational, heath and social fields. He also shed light on the development projects implemented by RCO, as well as its relief campaigns delivered to stricken countries following directives from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, RCO’s Honorary President, and under the leadership of HM the King’s Representative of HM the King for Charity Work and Youth Affairs, and RCO’s Board of Trustees Chairman, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. Shaikh Abdulla bin Rashid Al Khalifa praised HM the King’s fatherly care, lauding the noble humanitarian and charitable efforts of RCO, under HH Shaikh Nasser’s leadership.
