Recycling Brisk in DPRK

Pyongyang, April 7 (KCNA) -- Many industrial establishments in the DPRK are pushing ahead with the recycling for raw and other materials, holding fast to it as an important business strategy. A signal progress has been made in the work to use plastic waste. Lots of factories and enterprises established recycling processes to produce various kinds of quality goods from plastic waste, including vinyl sheets, plasticizer, antifreeze for vehicles, different sizes of containers and plastic tubes, awning, artificial grass and safety caps. Wood processing and furniture factories have produced furniture, fixtures and mushrooms by making an effective use of by-products. Pyongyang City, Hamhung City and other regions built recycling plants in recent years to produce block, slate, glass yarn, plastic tube, etc. with city waste. -0-
