Registration for FDPM Fellowship Programme to end April 2

Manama, Apr. 1 (BNA): The officials of the First Deputy Prime Minister Fellowship Programme (FDPM Fellowship) are preparing to receive the candidates of the fourth edition of the programme, as the registration process on http://www.fdpm.gov.bh/fellowship will close on April 2. This year’s applicants are expected to outnumber those who had applied for the programme during its first edition in 2015. Enjoying the great attention of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, the FDPM Fellowship Pgrammme provides its participants with an important challenge as it enables them to learn about the decision-making process and policies implementation mechanisms, as well as the Government Action Plans through their presence in the Office of the First Deputy Prime Minister (OFDPM). This will ensure that the programme affiliates see the broader picture of the government’s action, and get informed about its various aspects, including the indicators to be followed. It will also enable them to have continuous contacts with the graduates of the previous batches, and to participate in a number of post-graduation training courses, as well as regular meetings with them. The programme has achieved outstanding success during the previous three editions, which is reflected in the increase in the number of applicants for the fourth edition, whose registration process started earlier this month.  It has succeeded in achieving its founding goals of discovering youth cadres who are capable of contributing effectively to the kingdom’s progress in the present and the future.  Those competencies and experts are capable of leading the national action process during a key phase that requires the enthusiastic and qualified youth who are able to understand the latest developments in the modern era and deal with them efficiently and effectively.
