Reinforcing Bahraini-Sri Lankan business cooperation emphasized

Manama, May 31 (BNA): Chairman of Bahraini-Asian Traders Committee (BATC) of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mohammed Sajid Izhar-Ulhaq, today met with Sri Lankan Ambassador to Bahrain Dr. A. S. U. Mendis. Izhar-Ulhaq reviewed the BATC participation in the investment forum recently held in Sri Lanka, which has positively reflected on the cooperation relations between the two countries. He invited the Sri Lankan Ambassador to attend the business forum scheduled to be held following Ramadan that targets boosting business relations between Bahraini merchants and their Asian counterparts. The Sri Lankan Ambassador welcomed the BATC keenness to broaden cooperation with their Sir Lankan counterparts. He stressed readiness to enhance coordination between business delegations of both countries to contribute to expanding economic partnerships.
