Representatives Council Secretary General receives IPU Director for Member Parliaments and External Relations

Manama, Feb. 28 (BNA): Representatives Council Secretary General, Chancellor Rashid Mohammed Bunejma received today Director for Member Parliaments and External Relations at the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), Ambassador Anda Filip. He praised Bahrain’s parliamentary and democratic experience and the advanced level it has reached thanks to the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the follow-up of the government led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. Both sides discussed exchanging experiences in organising international parliamentary conferences and ways of providing support to the Kingdom of Bahrain by IPU in this respect. Ambassador Anda Filip expressed thanks for the meeting, stressing that Bahrain has become a model to emulate in openness, moderation, coexistence and tolerance thanks to the farsighted vision of His Majesty the King.
