Republic of Guinea President Alpha Conde to Visit Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR, June 26 (Bernama) -- Republic of Guinea President, Alpha Conde, will make a four-day official visit to Malaysia beginning Tuesday. In a statement here, the Foreign Ministry said Conde is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Najib Razak, on Wednesday. It said this would be Conde's first visit to Malaysia. The visit will provide an excellent opportunity for both leaders to reinvigorate bilateral engagement and foster a closer working relationship and both leaders are also expected to exchange views on issues of mutual interest. During the visit, Conde is also scheduled to attend a series of briefing by the Economic Planning Unit (EPU), Performance Management & Delivery Unit (PEMANDU) and the National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN). He will also attend briefings by the Federal Land Development Authority (FELDA) and Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) on Malaysia’s nation-building experiences. -- BERNAMA
