RHF delegation visits Bahrain’s education projects at Syrian Refugees’ Camp

Amman, Feb. 11 (BNA): A Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) delegation visited Bahrain’s basic school which is located at Abu Nacir in Amman, Jordan, following directives from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa.
The delegation took stock of the humanitarian and relief projects implemented by the Kingdom of Bahrain for Syrian Refugees, with the support of the Government, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The relief projects are also supervised and followed up by HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian and Youth Affairs His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa.
Built on an area covering 10,000 square metres, the school has a constructed surface of 2,135 square metres to accommodate over 900 students.
“The solar-powered basic education school features 12 classrooms, a science lab, and a modern library”, said RHF Secretary General Dr. Mustapha Al Sayyed.
School principal Maram Al Omari highlighted different sections and facilities which support students’ education and contribute to heralding their shining future.
The delegation, which includes a number of volunteers, also visited Bahrain Basic School for Girls in the Governorate of Irbid, accommodating kindergarten, primary, intermediate and secondary students.
Built on 8000 sq m, the educational facility has a constructed surface of 11,729 sq m, accommodating 1,600 students.
The solar-powered school comprises 18 classrooms, 3 science labs and a computer lab.
