Royal crematorium exhibition to open for public on Nov 2
BANGKOK, Oct 21 (TNA) – After the Royal Cremation Ceremony, HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn will preside over the opening of an exhibition on the Royal Crematorium at Sanam Luang ceremonial ground on Nov 2.
Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister General Tanasak Patimapragorn, chairman of the committee, overseeing the construction of the royal crematorium confirmed readiness in all components of the ceremony such as the royal crematorium, traditional performances and electricity and sewerage systems.
The royal crematorium and the exhibition about the royal cremation will be opened to public from Nov 2-30 from 7am to 10 pm.
5,000 visitors will be allowed to enter the exhibition site for each 45-minute round.
Five security screening points will be set up. Out of all screening points, three will be opened for general public, one for foreign tourists and the other for monks and the elderly.
Facilities will be provided for visitors, particularly for physically-challenged persons. (TNA)
