Royal humanitarian vision highlighted at World Humanitarian Summit

Istanbul, May 24 (BNA): Parliament Affairs Minister Ghanim bin Fadl Al-Buainain, in his speech at the World Humanitarian Summit being held in Istanbul, Turkey, highlighted Bahrain's strategy for relief and humanitarian work based on the respect for human dignity and protecting human rights. The minister pointed the many relief and humanitarian works carried out in various countries of the world by the Royal Charity Organization chaired by HM the King Representative for Charity and Youth Affairs, Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. He added that the royal humanitarian vision focuses on education, provisions and health areas to ensure the continuity of hope. He reviewed Bahrain's efforts in providing humanitarian aid for a number of countries, such as the Philippines, Pakistan, Syria, Gaza and Somalia, as well as its efforts in the establishment of 14 schools and several medical centers in areas mentioned. He explained that the crises, disasters and armed conflicts have occurred during the last two decades in many regions caused damages to the infrastructure and millions of human beings. He emphasized on the respect for human dignity and promoting relief and aid work. He reiterated Bahrain's support for all donors and humanitarian assistances for ensuring brighter and more humanitarian future.
