Royal initiative welcomed

Manama, Feb 23 (BNA): Wife of HM the King, President of the Supreme Council of Women (SCW), HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, highlighted HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's support for Bahraini women which has paved the way for their participation in various career fields, playing their role in the development of the Bahraini community and maintaining the national gains and achievements. This came in response to HM the King's initiative on including Bahraini Women's Day on the list of Bahrain's national days. The royal initiative was pronounced as HM the King recently received President of the High Authority for Media and Communication, Information, Parliament Affairs Minister, senior officials and editors -in- chief. SCW extended sincere thanks to HM the King, pointing the media efforts in accentuating Bahraini women's contributions to the construction and progress process taking place in Bahrain.
