Royal Medical Services Commander patronises honouring celebration

Manama, Feb. 7 (BNA): A distribution Ceremony of the Medal of Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) was held today at Shaikh Ali bin Abdullah Al Khalifa hall at BDF Hospital under the patronage of Commander of the Royal Medical Services Major General Prof. Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa. The Commander presented during the ceremony marking the BDF golden jubilee the medals to senior officers of the BDF Hospital and the field medical battalion. As part of the celebration, the Royal Medical Services Commander received ISO 15189 Medical Laboratories accreditation certificate. He also received the International Accreditation Certificate from the American Heart Association. The BDF Hospital Training Centre received the Excellence Certificate and was accredited as a first-level international training centre. Outstanding employees and the departments with the highest assessment grades were also honoured during the celebration. The Commander hailed the achievements as the dividend of the unlimited support accorded to the BDF Hospital by the leadership and Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.
