Royal moderate vision hailed

Oman, Apr. 12 (BNA): Oman’s Deputy Prime Minister for Cabinet Affairs, Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al-Said, here today, received Bahrain’s parliamentary delegation led by Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla.  The Bahraini delegation currently on a visit to Oman at the invitation of Oman’s Shura Chairman Shaikh Khalid bin Hilal Al-Maawali to enhance cooperation and partnership between the two councils. Al-Said lauded the moderate policy of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, which is based on mutual respect and non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries, pointing out Bahrain's advancement in education, women empowerment and sustainable development.  He conveyed greetings of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said to HM the King, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, commending the deep-rooted historical bilateral relations.  Al-Mulla conveyed good wishes of HM the King to HM Sultan Qaboos, noting the royal interest in promoting the bilateral relations and cooperation in various areas, wishing Oman further progress and prosperity.  He welcomed broadening parliamentary cooperation and establishing joint projects in light of the economic and political challenges faced by the region.
