Royal support to charity work praised

Manama, March 15 (BNA): Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Work and Youth Affairs and Board of Trustees Chairman of the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa extended Heartfelt thanks and respect to HM the King, the RCO Honorary President, for his tremendous support to the organisation's charity and humanitarian work and unflinching care for the orphans, widows and all the needy in Bahrain. Speaking at a meeting of RCO Board of Trustees, he praised the royal humanitarian initiatives to help people in brotherly and friendly countries which reflect Bahrain's unflinching stances towards the brethren and friends all over the world. He also commended the support given to RCO by HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier. He underlined the need to take the necessary steps to carry out the royal directives to provide comprehensive care for the needy in Bahrain and assist the helpless in brotherly and friendly countries. The meeting spotlighted progress in implementing the royal directives with regard to strategic projects as well as development and investment programmes implemented by RCO for the benefit of the Bahraini people. The RCO Board of Trustees hailed the visit of the Arab ambassadors to RCO premises during which they got informed about the organisation's activities and charity programmes spearheaded by Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
