Russia calls on ending clashes in Homs

MOSCOW (A.A) - Russia called on ending clashes in Homs and other cities of Syria immediately. Russian Foreign Ministry stated on Friday that both the government and the opposition should take required steps to recover humanitarian situation in Homs and other Syrian cities. The priority should be to declare cease fire especially in Homs, and evacuate the wounded people from the city, said the Ministry, adding that needs of civilians in this city should immediately be met. The ministry also expressed support to the mission of Kofi Annan who was appointed as a special representative by Arab League to solve Syrian crisis.
