Russian delegation to visit Bahrain

Manama, Apr. 20 (BNA): A high-level Russian delegation led by Governor of St. Petersburg Georgy Poltavchenko will arrive in Bahrain on April 24 on a four-day visit. Capital Governor Shaikh Hesham bin Abdulrahman Al-Khalifa received Russian Ambassador to Bahrain Vagif Garaev and discussed preparations for the visit. Manama, Apr. 20 (BNA): A high-level Russian delegation led by Governor of St. Petersburg Georgy Poltavchenko will arrive in Bahrain on April 24 on a four-day visit. Capital Governor Shaikh Hesham bin Abdulrahman Al-Khalifa received Russian Ambassador to Bahrain Vagif Garaev and discussed preparations for the visit. He hailed strong strategic relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Russian of Federation, stressing the importance of exchanging visits to expand cooperation and boost investment in all fields. The delegation comprises 50 figures from the public sector as well as representatives of private companies and institutions to discuss ways of further activating a memo of cooperation signed during His Royal Highness the Crown Prince's visit to Russia in April 2014. The Memorandum aims to bolster cooperation in various fields. The Capital Governor said the Russian delegation's visit, which is in response to a visit by a Bahraini delegation to St. Petersburg in October 2015, aims to further bolster bilateral relations and cooperation within the framework of a constructive policy based on friendship and mutual respect.
